what is the progress on this?
I don't know, I added this and the other free standing artificial boulders, no idea what mike142sl resolved or why it was reactivated.
Me neither, although it was 9 months ago?
nod, there may be a tag or common name suitable for denoting that these are boulders or boulder'd areas, that might work better than map notes
There are some, e.g. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:sport%3Dclimbing
I'll try and find time to go through the notes and tag them with this. I thought I did it at the time of creating them.
Would anyone mind if I put a node on the large boulders aimed at adult climbers with a sport=climbing tag eg the ones at Heeley. But didn’t separately tag the children’s boulders in play areas (they are part of the play equipment) and then hit the Resolve button on all these notes?
That sounds like a good solution.
I've been meaning to transfer the location of all the Sheffield boulders over to here for some time from https://goo.gl/i4cNPt as I'd like to replace the embedded map on my Wiki (which documents the boulders and problems on them, see https://sheffieldboulder.uk/) with an OpenStreetMaps one.
The kids boulders are really minor and really just another feature of the play equipment.
