Surveyed the area right around the clubhouse. Looks like the sand trap labeled Historic Sand Trap (next to this note) still exists. Historic Practice Green needs to be resurveyed. The regular greens and tees (including tee signs) that were lingering appear to have been removed now, and grass mowed as far as the eye can see from the clubhouse, but hills block the view. Will need to walk the park when it's warmer to confirm that they're all gone now.
It shouldn't have a descriptive name of "Historic Practice Green"
That's true: I don't even see any evidence of "Historic Sand Trap" on any official map, and there was no sign designating that name on-site. I assume the same with "Historic Practice Green" but can find out if I get up on that ridge where it is.
I surveyed the park from a line west of the parking lot (i.e. out to the west picnic shelter) to a line NW of the clubhouse (i.e. between old holes 5 & 6).
* golf=bunker: Survey and re-tag individually. Some sandtraps are still sand; some are overgrown and effectively unkempt grass. I have surveyed some.
* golf=green, golf=tee: Probably re-tag as former, then delete later, or survey individually to tag as mowed grass areas as appropriate. Vestiges of many of the tees and greens remain as flat mounds with grass still mowed regularly, but have no golf elements left, and I don't know that there is a good tag for a flat-top mound in OSM. A few are subsumed into unmowed prairie.
* golf=fairway, golf=hole: Mark all as removed, then delete once the aerial photograph has passed, without exception. The old fairways have no relation whatsoever to the current grass layout, and there are no holes or tee signs remaining on site, so hole numbers are not useful for on-the-ground navigation.
