HYDROGEOLOGIST, PREVENTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS, CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACT ON WATER, SPATIAL ANALYSIS WITH GIS

Hydrogeologist expert in managing water (e.g. water, sanitation and hygiene, water balances, water systems distribution planning, etc.), in Environmental Risks Management, GIS, Remote Sensing with 10+ years of experience having worked as a project manager and technical advisor for international private companies, NGOs (in Africa, Central and South America) and in the academic sector (Universities in Europe and North & South America). My fields of expertise are: hydrogeology (e.g. groundwater modelling, hydrogeochemistry, ocean pollution, river flood flow calculation, soft and hard engineering techniques to mitigate or prevent floods and landslides, climate change impact in water resources, boreholes, dams and water systems distribution for drinking water and irrigation, water management for water saving), prevention, mitigation and preparedness of environmental hazards (especially in landslides, earthquakes and tsunami, cyclones, droughts, floods), climate change impact to the environmental hazards (reinforce resilience and adaptive capacity to climate change-caused hazards) Professor (Adjunct) at “Roma Tre” University for the “GIS applied to disaster risk reduction and management, GIS applied to study Climate Change Impact to Water Resources and to the Environmental Hazards, GIS applied to Water Management (groundwater and surface water)”. Resourceful and dedicated multi-lingual manager (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Haitian Creole) having worked in extremely diverse, challenging and unsafe contexts.
