There is a private, locked gate at the bottom of the Lake Cushman dam! No vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist could get past this point and it should be noted as such. We found out the hard way as cyclists on a bike tour and followed maps.me instructions, and then had to backtrack. Please note that further SE on this road there is also a locked gate that prohibits access for motorized vehicles.
