This "road" or rather track should not be marked as a road for normal vehicles. An ATV is required. Or mountainbike, on horseback or on foot. No whealchairs either!
Diese "Strasse" kann nicht als solche geführt werden. Es handelt sich hier eher um einen Pfad! Befahrbar mit Gelädefahrzeugen, Mountainbikes auf Pferden oder zu Fuß.

The signposted route for the link to National Cycle Network 3 now points up the service tracks through the wood. Sustrans site http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/route-3 shows new configuration. The path of service tracks also seem different now.
