Few days ago I've imported the UMP-Gdansk--GDANSK.ulice.osm file.

Today, I started Tricity WikiProject to coordinate the UMP importing.

I've imported the 'UMP-Gdansk--GDYNIA.ulice.osm' file, putting every effort not to loose anything that had a .gpx trace beneath itself. The few (very few) streets that didn't have one, I've decided to delete. I'm sorry guys, I didn't like doing it, but I felt that the streets without the .gpx don't have any more value, then those from UMP, and it sped up the process big time.

Added 'Rezerwat Kępa Redłowska' wood, and the wood near Kolibki.

Smoothed out the coastline between Molo in Sopot and port in Gdynia.

Got behind with the diary. Yet three edits happened in these, almost, 3 months:

Long time ego (in a galaxy...) was a car trip to Galeria Bałtycka, which led to tracking south-going lane of the Rzeczypospolitej/Chłopska then Wyspiańskiego, Pomorska.

There was a bike trip to Gołębiewo, which gave Reja, Gręzowo, Wielka Gwiazda, Leśnik, 23 Marca etc.

And just yesterday was the Malczewskiego/Sopocka-Brodwino-Kamionka trip.

PS: In the defense of my lag, let me allege lending of my GPS for the whole August. :P

I added YWMS to my JOSM and traced the the TPK. :P

It is by no means accurate trace. But still. It's amazing how so little can give so much. It gives a great sense of where are the missing suburbs and should give a pleasant feeling of relief to those focused on doing only the urban >streets<. :)

Got to keep also in mind, that a trace of a wood isn't necessary a trace of the 'Park Krajobrazowy'. They differ in few parts.

Last Sunday, I tracked quite a bit of lower (more like middle) Sopot - South of Monte Cassino, North of Polna. Plus a bit more to the South - 'Hipodrom' horse racing track, and around 'Sopocki Parkur I and II' housing estates...

...and since today is Wednesday, it looks like it took me another bit to trace it all. :)

Did most part of upper Sopot on my bike this evening.

Uploaded missing GPX sources.

Had to be at the airport yesterday. Gave me a chance to track few important secondary, and some primary streets.

On my way there, I got Czyżewskiego and a missing part of Słowackiego between Matarnia and the airport.

Going back, I got north-going lane of the Aleja Rzeczypospolitej / Chłopska.

In Sopot, got Bitwy pod Płowcami, Grunwaldzka, Powstańców Warszawy, parts of Haffnera and Goyki, and then Armii Krajowej.

Also traced few horizontal streets like 3 Maja, Polna, Opacka, form my last bike trip.

Still need to upload the .gpx sources. Soon.

There is a lot that needs to be done. The data for the Trycity area is pretty much non existent at the moment.

And since my hometown is Sopot, I can just as well start with it.

So, 'enough with the Talking and let's do the Walking'!
