About Me

I am a former GIS Technician with the Kaart editing team. All of my edits from February, 2020 and forward are my own and are not associated with Kaart.

I live in beautiful Montrose, CO. I am and always have been passionate about maps! I was one of those kids who would spend hours just staring at the globe. I love to be outdoors in any way that I can and the travel opportunities I have while improving the map are among the richest blessings I have been given in this life. I love to write and mostly I love being a dad! I occasionally like to journal my experiences and philosophies on life through my blog, Happily Alive. I’m doing my best to live life intentionally and with purpose each and every day! I contribute to OSM almost daily. I source all of my edits from ground visitation and verification. Most of my edits are only made when I can physically see the feature that I am editing.
