I have been a trail map maker for many years, mostly as a volunteer in national parks and public land reservations. I am especially interested in keeping maps accurate and trails properly marked for hiker enjoyment and use in search and rescue operations.

Also, I am interested in keeping trails that would lead a hiker to unknowingly trespass onto posted private property or tramp through environmental protected areas either off of maps or at least well identified as to legal liability and ecological consequences for using them.
