  • Merkaartor’s problems

I’ve since discovered that “Set Area Opacity” was interfering with things and causing most of my problems before. Geotagged photos however are still impossible to locate (“Show Photos on Map” doesn’t) .. attempting to use the Style Editor and adding a [picture] = GeoTagged (with a fat red border on the waypoint) has no effect– making a copy of the MapnickPlus.mas (to ensure its writeable) won’t Load. In short, I can’t use Markaartor because it fails on the geotagged photo-heavy input I have to do.

South Lismore

Yep, being 'heavy' will burn through cassettes and chains :( .. My CRX4 is due for a new set after only ~1000 kms.

Leaving unfinished streets

My experience with sealant wasn't great-- riding a MTB from Newcastle to Armidale and back in the Summer, the sealant was heating up ('to painfully hot') and dissolving the glue on the patches that were there. :/ These days I just carry 4 spare tubes in the panniers, and leave any repairs until the end of the day...

Charlestown + Adamstown Heights now exist

Ch = Chase, I believe.

I've been slack recently, as I've been giving the scooter too much attention...

Finished off Jewells

It's like we're playing a /real/ game of Go. :-D

Finished off Gateshead + ITO world

If you think that'd bad, wait until you do Windale...

(I lived there in 1979, as one of the first residents of the 'modern' development under Willandra Cres that created the problems. When the second stage was given to...the ferals, and our house kept being broken into every month, we got out of there.)

Cameron Park-Edgeworth-Cardiff-Cardiff North

I've used two ideas for the battery:

#1 http://hunter.apana.org.au/~cjb/Image/Bike/battery_ubolt.jpg
Using a perfectly-fitting galvanized u-bolt and hose-clamps I found at ISP Auto.

#2 http://hunter.apana.org.au/~cjb/Image/Bike/battery-under.jpg
An insulated foam lunch box from Bunnings, with cable ties through the top and back. Inside the wires end in alligator clips, useful for the different kinds of batteries.

This morning when I mapped Elermore Vale, there were -always- schoolgirls standing at the bus stops that I wanted to photo.. :/

Bloody Olympus xD cards...

I've had this problem. The data recovered from the xD card is totally random too, so it's not as if a cosmic ray corrupted the FAT..
