I like the idea of OpenStreetMap and to my opinion we already reached the goal of being better than Google. Since December 2009 I am using a cheap GPS receiver (Jentro activepilot BT-GPS8). First tests have been successful. In the mean time (2014) I switched to Android based Samsung devices. Their accuracy is astonishing.
