Active geocacher since 2008, have always been on the lookout for better maps to use on my adventures.
Started editing OSM in 2013 but only did a few random edits. In 2014 went on a long-term cycling tour across half the world and since then have really appreciated Openstreetmap and the work of every contributor around the world, as OSM map was mostly what I relied on throughout the trip for more than a year.
At the moment settled in New Zealand / Latvia and giving the favour back - trying to contribute to maps as much as I can knowing that there are people out there who will be grateful for that, same as I was.
OSM based map is now the only one I use for my GPS unit.
