Forget it. The DWG and the board are a corrupt bunch of old white men. They will defend each other and actively remove any community member that doesn’t fit their world views (queer/LGBT, POC; neurodivergent people). They have made it clear that their own rules don’t apply to their clique, only to others. I got threats of harm posted both in changeset comments and on the OSM community board and was shoved off by the DWG because, in literal words, “insults are okay in the German community” (but only if they come from others, I can get banned for the same insults). A fellow OSM member got his ability removed to post or reply to changeset discussions at all. Up until then I did not even know this was technically possible! It is also not a punishment that is mentioned on any of the relevant documents on the OSM Foundation wiki, so it was evidently made up on the whim, with support of the OSM tech team who had to implement this change.

Trying to negotiate with them is, unfortunately, a hopeless cause. You’re a marked man and you will get banned in due time. I’d recommend creating a bunch of sleeper accounts (best with VPN) right now if I were you.
