User and fan of OSM for many years but had not been a contributor before 2020. Then got into using StreetComplete mobile app to answer questions about map features, but gave up on the whole thing in 2021 when locations I’d flagged in StreetComplete to make more detailed corrections to back home were frustratingly ‘tidied up’ on the basis of guesswork by (well-meaning) other editors before I could get to them.

Also in 2021 started manually inputting some omitted footpaths and connections noticed while out and about, and have recently (2023) come back to that thanks to being early on the scene at the opening up of a couple of new residential developments.
