Re http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/47328415/history how did you know that "landuse=forest" and not "natural=wood" was the appropriate tag here?

Also, in your change to http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/76823138/history you seem to be under a misapprehension that a deciduous tree is necessarily broadleaved. It isn't - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larch .

"landuse=wood" tag is commonly used by mistake. So, "landuse=forest" is a more appropriate tag.

"natural=wood" may be more appropriate, but it seems dubious that it's an ancient or virgin woodland.

Comment from iWowik
You are wrong and vandal "natural=wood" is appropriate for any type of group of trees!

Comment from Test360
iWowik : the OSM wiki does not say at all that "natural=wood" is appropriate for any type of group of trees.
Please watch your language and do not call me a vandal.

There is (and has been for many years) debate about tagging of woodland - whether "natural=wood" means "there are trees" or "this is a primeval forest". The problem is even documented on the wiki page:
http://wiki.osm.org/wiki/Tag:natural%3Dwood
What about http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/76823138/history - did you survey that yourself to see that the trees were indeed broad-leaved? The mapped trees don't really match the imagery, so I suspect that more surveying might be needed here in any case.

The data was not correct, because "landuse=wood" is a mistaken tag, as the OSM wiki states : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:landuse%3Dwood_%28Don%27t_use%29
Thus, this edit was not vandalism.
iWowik, you seem to not understand the difference between "natural=wood" and "landuse=wood".
Thanks SomeoneElse to explain how deciduous tree is not necessarily broadleaved. The JOSM warning don't explain that.
