Hi,
I have speak about my edit with twos others contributors Zverik and lenux (but no response...) and on talk-osm
OSM Forum registration have been blocked... problem is in relation of costline rendering because base layer water have no hole.I have remove coastline in lake Onega but... I speak about that on OSM talk list and there is no concensus (it speak about edit war...) on big lake and i don't understand why...
There is a multipolygon with water information and i don't think it is necessary to add a coastline in this case.
This problem is link to the renderer because the background layer has been create with coastline and isn't refresh regulary...
So all inner part of relation multipolygon have rendering problem if islet or island are locate backside of the old coastline...
What do you think about that? Can you speak with RU community?
If it necessary I restore coastline but I don't want to do that if it is just a rendering solution... I think rebuilt background water layer is a sustainable solution to this problem and lakes can refresh has you want without those problems.

I see your actions resulted in a broken lake Ladoga multipolygon. It is very hard to fix in in JOSM, so could you either fix it or revert to a coastline?

no problem. It is not that difficult but you must use java 64x with -Xmx = 1700M

The issue is in speed, not in memory. I get ~0.2 fps when trying to look at the relation.

Also, it seems that user molind has started fixing the relation. I guess you should wait a bit :)

has it want... But add coastline don't change loading speed. This relation is very big has boundary... This question about coastline is very specific to russian lake because canadian lake dont have coastline and have same configuration.
So I wait ;-) If it to long to have all changes i can do that. I let you monitoring these changes.
Jérôme.
