Muralito while I appreciate your criticism and your oversight in making sure that we create accurate data, I find your methods unprofessional. I agree that the polygon that I added to Openstreetmap was inaccurate after having reviewed it due to your comments. However, I do not feel that a point is sufficient for the most accurate map data, and have made changes to that specific change. Thank you for your comments I hope to continue to receive feedback from you to create the best data I can.

It's not a matter of "feeling" or "not feeling".
The node, locating the node inside the feature, allows mapping a feature when you dont have much information about it, like it's this case. A polygon is for when you know without doubt what is inside and outside ot this polygon.
Did yoy consider professional a method if it introduces bad data where good data exists previously? If you can't improve existing data, just dont broke it.
Please explain why you find my methods unprofessional.

Having reviewed the area in question, both having been on the ground where the point of question is and having reviewed the video we took of that area I believe that we are with reasonable certainty able to draw a polygon which provides more data for developers to work with.
To explain why it is better to have more data, let us look at an elementary school, should a navigation app warn a driver of a school zone but only on the road that is closest to the object in question then we would have only that road, which the point is closest to, give the warning when in reality we need to have the warning on all surrounding roads. A polygon eliminates this worry, and should we have at least two points of verification, ground source video, up to date satellite imagery, and in this case I had three because of the point you already placed there with great information I might add. We can therefore add a polygon. Which I did and then changed after you pointed out it probably wasn't the entire original area.
I do not view this as breaking the openstreetmap data or as bad data I view this as an improvement because this is raw data. We are creating data that will be available to many different people with different needs and ideas for what they would like to do with it. Adding polygons gives app developers the tools they need to constantly be improving their own apps and data that eventually is used by everyday people. For instance maps.me creates 3D models of what is acutally there, based on polygons and the information on that polygon. Giving map users a better point of reference for navigation.
The only thing that I find unprofessional is reverting my changeset before I could have a chance to review and update or respond to your comments. I would like to improve in my skill and changing it for me takes away that opportunity for me to grow in skill. Additionally your comment about the source tag only being good for finding the bad things we do is not conducive to open source collaboration. I find your drive for accurate data inspiring and your attention to detail something that I need to personally improve on in all aspects of my life, I only ask for patience as I move toward that goal, and by extension patience for those that are my colleagues editing in Uruguay.

If you follow the principle of "One feature One element", you should map the three schools, not one polygon. Each school are independent entities, with different attributes. As you now draw it, there are 4 amenity=schools there which is not true.
For example, If i want a school list, (extract from OSM date a list of name, address and phone) for example, the "4th school" is an artifact with no correspondent in the real world.
Why is better to have an artifact so an app can warn somebody (or take any other , than to have the real data?
If you need data that support that kind of tools, you sholud be able to collaborate data that doesn't break other uses of the same data.
Also, for example, in a school (or in other buildings or places), it's also important (or more important) to guide you to the entrance (almost always a point), not to any point of the polygon near to a street, it has to be the entrance.
