I know that "Academie" comes from USGS populated place data. However, to the extent that a place called "Academie" ever existed, this is not where it was.
If it ever existed, it was likely near the intersection of Auburn and Wallen Roads where a subdivision known as "Academie Addition" is. However, that area and this area are both now incorporated parts of the city of Fort Wayne. -

Further evidence that Academie was near Auburn/Wallen intersection: in the early 20th century, there was a school there known as the Sacred Heart Academy. It was acquired by the Diocese of Fort Wayne and South Bend and became the Sacred Heart Seminary. That building is now gone, but it can be seen on historic USGS topographic quads and on historic imagery on iMap.
Meanwhile, the area near Till Road and the former NYC RR grade, where the USGS says Academie was, was farmland in all available historical imagery from 1938 to 1999.
