Saluton,
You have changed "name" and the wikipedia entry to the Esperanto translation.
You have also removed the "alt_name" key.
Having multiple alternative "alt_name:lang" keys doesn't exclude the usage of "alt_name" -

All names should be in the local language; for some objects (like poles, seas and continents) we cannot specify local language, so the best election for the name: tag would be Esperanto.
There's no point in adding duplicate values into alt_name tag and similar. -
Comment from naoliv
It's not about duplicating values, but about a fallback value:
If an application tries to get "alt_name:zh" and doesn't find it, it should try "alt_name".
As it is now it will never find an alternative name for non-specified alt_name:languages
Some applications don't even use alt_name:lang but try to directly use alt_name. -
Comment from naoliv
It's like having multiple "name:lang" keys; it's still necessary to have "name"

Yes, the name: tag is obligatory. But if an application don't find alt_name:zh, then simply object don't have alternative name. Look at the USA:
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/148838
it has several alternative names in Vietnamese, but there's no alternative name in native language (English), so there's no alt_name tag. -

It's a different.
If you are considering Esperanto as the default language here, then it has an alt_name.
If we consider English, it also has alt_name.
