Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Did you mean to amend the name of that section? Because nothing has changed. Princes Walk needs to be split into two sections at the corner then the north section renamed. If you need help or would like it amended for you please just ask? Regards Bernard -

Hi Bernard,
I cannot figure out how to make these changes!
I noticed that that small section of road parallel to the main road was incorrectly shown as Princes Walk when it should be Normanston Drive. (ie The same as the main road. I know, I used to live there!) It only becomes Princes Walk at the corner.
If that can be changed it would be accurate.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Bill, I'll guide you on how to proceed with the iD editor.
Highlight/select the way (road) you want to edit in this case Princes Walk.
Place your cursor/pointer over the node (small circle) at the point you wish to divide the road into two sections.
Right click the node, you get a drop down menu.
Place the cursor/hand over the scissors symbol, left click the scissors symbol.
The way/road should now be in two sections.
Now highlight/select the section of road that the name needs changing.
In the left panel you can edit the name.
Then save the changes by clicking the save box at the top of the editor.
Done!
Don't worry if you mess it up I can always revert it. Please say if anything is unclear or if you want me to make the edit.

Forgot to say if you want to insert a node to split a way at another place other than an existing node. Place cursor at the position and double left click.
