Las Estaciones de Servicio en Bolivia estan TODAS puestas como NODE, no como Building.
Antes de Modificar CONSULTAR.
YOU CAN'T DELETE EXISTING DATA without consulting the local editors
Please REVERT all these changes to their original form.

Bullshit, this is preferred mapping practice.

Your Preferred Mapping practice is NOT our preferred way man. You are destroying data that cost months to collect and update, including hamlets and other urban centers.
All changes that you make will be reverted. What kind of mapper are you? Do you actually live in Bolivia? We have agreed procedures here. If you want to edit your way, them edict at your home country and STOP messing around with others countries data. -

Hello,
I would appreciate if you change your way of communication. I am happy to discuss mapping standards with you, but not in this way.
I have traveled 125.000 km through 43 countries including Bolivia in my overlander vehicle in the Middle East, Africa and South America and I have made thousands of additions and corrections to OSM based on what I found along the road. All of them are based on a combination of site survey and satellite images.
I don't own the data of an area, but you don't either. If you like please feel free to revert the few fuel station changes that I made (although they are definitely correct OSM mapping), but do not revert other changes and additions without consulting me. If you do I will be forced to report it as vandalism.
Regards,
Jan van Bekkum

I dont mean in any way that all changes that you made are wrong, and we appreciated the addition of valid roads and other features; but you need also to understand that if in the map are valid data in a certain way you can NOT change it just because you liked more in another certain way; you have changed/deleted urban centres, full stations, tool booths that were full valid data just to the way you wanted; them that could be also cataloged as vandalism; and you have thousand of changes, o do I indeed at least 3 times the amount of editions of yours. I already warned you several weeks ago that you were placing "intermittent" to roads that render them useless for navigation, when that value es just valid for waterways.
Any contribution of new data is more that welcome; but not under your "Bullshit" aptitude; each country has the liberty to edict in a certain way; and all should respect that, meanwhile is valid OSM data.
Feel free to keep adding good data, but do not change anything that is NOT WRONG without consulting it.
My Best Regards and keep riding

Thanks for your reply.
Please be aware that no data was lost. For example when I changed a fuel station from a node to an area (a building) I copied all data; same for any other changes. The change just adds information.
I tried to find these intermittent roads, but I can't remember having created those. It must have been just an error; I am well aware that roads aren't intermittent.
Regards,
Jan
