Hi, and thanks for adding so much detail to Owatonna! A couple tips based on viewing some of your edits: 1) unless a feature truly goes to the middle of a road, it's best practice to not attach the nodes of landuse ways (ie parks, religious areas) to roads (long story short, it's inaccurate and makes future editing more difficult), 2) in most cases it's no longer necessary to add imagery source to features as this is now included in the changeset tags, 3) it IS good to add the source of your knowledge to the changeset comments--if you live in an area, you might say "survey", "personal knowledge" or something like that.

1. This is how most everything was done - not necessarily by me.
2. In this case, as noted by the comments, I added the source of bing to all the parks. It is necessary for the given use I'm using it for. All imagery was done on the back end - nothing to do with me.
3. Note the comments. That's exactly what I was doing.
The only other thing I did here was change the boundaries of Lincoln park to include the whole park, not just a few trees. For the record, I am aware that disconnecting a point from a road is not easy but doable (and not very complicated) and it was also already done. It is easier to let the app put the points where it wants and deal with changing park boundaries when park boundaries change - in my experience, not very often. But again, I was adding a source to all of the parks, as noted in the comments and my above responses and as to your requests. If you might notice, pretty much NOTHING listed on the map has a source. So if you'd like that feature you can go a head and add them since clearly my adding them and it adding it's own imagery is not what you were looking for. Feel free to update as you want – after all that’s the point of open source, but the app that is sourcing this for me needs a source of bing listed, so add away, just don't remove that source. -

OK, I didn't realize you are using the source tag for another purpose. Some new users see that tag on other existing features and then think it's required. When you say "app that is sourcing this for me" does that mean you are getting data from that app, or is the OSM data feeding into that app? I ask because if you're getting data from another source, you need to make sure the license is compatible with OSM. See https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Legal_FAQ#2._Contributing

I am using an app that uses open street map. How is not for me to know. I along with other have just updated osm to note the features such as parks that the app uses and was missing.
