Hallo Robin,
Ik heb de door jou ingevoerde wijziging weer weggehaald. Het voegt niets toe, Het is logisch dat je hier met de gangbare betaalmiddelen kan betalen.

Sorry, but Robin has added useful information to improve the OSM data, and even if you may consider it redundant, this information is important to someone with different cultural expectations.
I would tell my family what they experienced, that they cannot pay with credit card in many places, and that nowhere can they pay with only a mag-strip card without Chip-and-PIN.
They told me where they come from nobody pays cash anymore and it's often not accepted.
OSM is an international community effort, not a company marketing platform, and if it is important enough for the community to add factually correct info about any shop in your chains, you should respect that.
Even better would be to list which credit card and payment card brands (V-Pay, Maestro, Electron, American Express, and countless others) are accepted, or if cash in a non-native currency (CHF, USD, and so on) particularly near shopping-holiday borders.
That is the sort of information OSM builds upon, and not just the local defaults.
You will find that the OSM community encourages new contributors to add as much detail as possible, and to improve upon existing data. -

99,2 % of all retail shops in The Neths gives the buyer the opportunity to pay with Maestro. Maybe you should bring this topic to the Dutch OSM Forum, and discuss the reactions over there. further info for The Nets (in Dutch) https://www.pin.nl/

From my experience V-Pay is less wide accepted, so mapping that would also be a good point. Assen still has several shops that do not accept contactless payments, shop that don't accept cards at all and also shops that only accept cards. Because of that I think this is useful information.
---

I am sure my ex-grillfiend had n0 pr0blem with paying and/0r receiving 1- and 2-Cent pieces a few weeks ag0 in y0ur chain, and I am pretty sure with a large en0ugh purchase I c0uld pay with the same 100er I br0ke a few days ag0. Else what is the p0int 0f pricing at 2,49 f0r Zitr0nensäure rather than 2,50, making it m0re w0rk t0 mentally calculate the sum ahead 0f time and have exact change ready?
Als0, here it seems the default is d0ggies are all0wed everywhere, restaurants, cafes, and where n0t it is clearly p0sted. Then, 0ne d0es n0t expect t0 spend tw0 h0urs sh0pping with a h0wling d0ggie tied 0utside, while that is valid at a cafe, and a g00d next challenge f0r CanineC0mplete, like payment meth0ds f0r CashC0mplete.
The sh0ps where n0 eating 0r drink is all0wed als0 have that p0sted pr0minently, it is als0 n0 pr0blem t0 put that in my rucksack, but it is a big pr0blem if all I have in my p0cket t0 pay is a d0zen hundred-Eur0en n0tes fresh ft0m the Banc0mat, 0r a th0usand Schwyzerfranken, and n0thing smaller, and desperately need s0mething. -

To freebeer;
If your comments would make any sense and if you know what you are talking about on this specific situation in The Netherlands, and if you would leave out so many -of topic- details one might take your comments more seriously in the future
