Unilaterally changing borders and names is considered bad practice, please discuss before changing.

How is this political motivated edit? When in Somalia the official language is Somali? Why does state and cities have to bear Arabic names? It is like giving American cities German names? Really strange!!

@Tedros That's the changeset comment of the reverting changeset. Among the things that you deleted was the disputed area of Somaliland: http://osm.mapki.com/history/relation.php?id=3586169 . The change to http://osm.mapki.com/history/node.php?id=424317039 was odder - you removed the name tag altogether but didn't replace it with anything. I'd expect the node name to match the relation name http://osm.mapki.com/history/relation.php?id=192799 (either in Somali or a Somali / Arabic hybrid as now).
I'm not familiar with the area, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somalia#Languages suggests that Somali is the main language, both Somali and Arabic are official languages, and both are widely used.
