Hi Matthew,
this is a very helpful changeset and I ask myself if I should revert it because it looks like a mechanical edit. If you had reviewed the objects you edited, you would have noticed that https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5726680621 is located on a street.
Best regards
Michael

The changes were done by hand. as you see when I do other edits of similar types, I fix up multiple attributes where I can.
I do not have enough knowledge to move the POI to a better location. Feel free to contact the original editor and suggest a better location.

Hi Matthew,
well, I only look at the address and check if addr:city and addr:street seem to be correct. There are two main problems with these Wheelmap edits:
1. Users using the geocoder and selecting any result. They trust the result even if the name of the city is ambiguous or the geocoder returned a match where parts of the address are equal (e.g. same street but different city).
2. Users using the Android app and its "locate me" feature. If no GPS fix is possible, the app uses the last known location. This can be anywhere but most likely wrong.
3. Users using the iOS or Android (?) which has hard-coded default coordinates if the app is used for the first time. One is the geographic centre of Germany (Sozialhelden e.V., the owner of Wheelmap is a German non-profit) or a building in Taubenstraße, Berlin. New POIs pile up there.
I reverted some edits of the user which were totally wrong (a Winnepeg POI on British Virgin Islands) and asked him to fix the others which were on the Canvec addr:*=* node and not in the building. I hope he responds.
Best regards
Michael
