Hi domod,
It's me again. I see you had some fun at Fallätsche. I was thinking about going there too some time, but after reading the hikr.org page you referred to for Diretissima Nord I am not so sure anymore if I can (alread?) handle that.
I noticed the cliff 606438501 you added here crosses the Diretissima Nord path. Since you marked it as alpine_hiking I expect it not to be complete vertical climing, should there maybe be a opening in the cliff?
Cheers,

After reading the reports and before I actually went to Fallätsche, I was also a bit worried - but then it turned out to be easier than I thought; perhaps the ways are better now than they were three years ago. On the other hand, I'm of course experienced in hiking and mountaineering, so you should still be careful.
The path does cross a fleet of rock, that's why I mapped it that way. It is only 1.5m or so, though, and not real climbing. I think it makes sense the way it is, because that shows the path's position relative to the cliff, even if the cliff is not very high. But I think it would also be not too wrong to move the cliff's start to the east of the path - feel free to try it out and edit afterwards according to your impression.

Thanks for getting back. I now see that the upper part is marked as T5, I missed that previously.
My experience as mountaineer is rather limited, coming from the lowlands. I was so far able to manage: (1) east approach up to Rigi Hochflue and south side down, (2) Fora da l'Aua and last weekend (3) Fronalpstock in Glarus. However, I do not know if mountaineers consider these signposted routes mountaineering though :-).
I will at least give Fallätsche some time to dry after yesterdays torrents and may then check it out.
Cheers,

Yesterday I made it to the top via Diretissima Nord :-). I agree with the way you mapped it. Just below the crossing with Fallätsche Traverse there is a nice spot that allows for a comfortable seating with a great view over the lake and Sihltal, where I had lunch. I doesn't fit more than 1 person. I better not mark it as viewpoint since it may attract those on flip-flops...
Since I actually had no clue what Diretissima means, I researched it a bit.
Looking a Wikipedia I understood, however it is typically written with a double 't'. Or is that done different in Switzerland?

Very nice! There's also a very nice spot (including a book to add your name and a small "bench") in the upper part of the Direttissima Mitte Nord - perhaps have a look at that as well!
And indeed, the spelling was wrong - I've fixed it now. Thanks for pointing it out! I don't think this is different in Switzerland, at least I'm not aware of it.
