Comment from SOSM
Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap
This, and other edits of yours, duplicate information that was already in our data (any additional attributes you want to add should have been made to the already existing objects). Further, as was displayed to you on sign up, imports and similar edits need to be discussed beforehand and you mandatory have to disclose the source of such third party data and ensure that it is compatible with our licence. Could you please subscribe to the Swiss mailing list and participate in the discussion there.
Thank you

Merci

Hi,
I'm sincerely sorry I didn't see your message earlier (I unfortunately don't have access to the Bibliomedia mail box...) The Fondation Bibliomedia has hired me to make every public library in the "french-speaking part" of Switzerland appear on the map. I thought it was a collaboration between OpenStreetMap and the Fondation, but it's apparently not... What can I do to erase my mistakes ?Bonjour,

Hi the duplication of objects is not tragic, but should be cleaned up. I think we can assume that the information added itself is ok, so the cleanup would simply involve merging the additional data in to the original object and then removing the added object (naturally only in cases where the library was already present).

Every informations I collected were found on the libraries' officials websites, and my mandate has no commercial purpose ; the goal here was to promote reading in general (which you should discuss with Bibliomedia's direction directly, for I am just mandated by them).
I'll stop my modifications until I hear from you and from Bibliomedia's direction. Sorry again for the mistakes. -

I noticed I duplicated one library (Bibliothèque régionale de l'Intyamon), however I didn't notice anything else. Nevertheless, I made a list with every library I created/completed and I can check them one by one to make sure I did it the right way. -

Further question: do you have opening hours information? That would clearly be useful to add.

Comment from Bibliomedia Suisse
I sometimes find opening hours, but my mandate did stipulate I should not add them... Once again, I can re-do every library to add opening hours (and sources if you need them) !

Opening hours should not be added because they are very dynamic. The libraries would have to edit the data set too often to be practical (holidays, feasts, etc.)

Actual opening hours can be found on the home pages of the libraries.
