Hi Martin, while we could probably argue about le Seebach, la Thur is definitively a river. Is there a specific reason why you downgraded that section to a stream?

You are right; I changed the Thur by mistake. However consider the upstreampart of the Thur as a stream.
My criterion is if you can jump over it or cross it without wetting your knees it is a stream.
If boats can go through it, it is definitely a river.
Do you change it?
Regards
Martin

Yes, I can change it. Now I see your point. I agree with the criterion "if you can jump over it" (which is also what's described in the wiki), much less with the part "if you can cross it without wetting your knees". I know some very shallow but very wide waterways, where you will not wet your knees under normal conditions and would not call them streams but rivers.

Some jump further than others...:-)
The criterion of course is not strict.
I would conider ruisseau/Bach as stream and I think that at least some part of the Thur is a 'ruisseau'? E.g. upstream of Oderen/Kruth but certainly upstream of Lac de Kruth-Wildenstein?

Upstream of the lake certainly. For the other parts, I would need to have a look again ;-)
