Please try to remain factual in your changeset comments - describe what it is you cleaned up, don't write "douchebaggery".

Oh gimmie a break. Apologies for my comment. I thought it was abundantly clear what had been cleaned up? Love you~

It is clear from a link to https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=62989377 that says somewhat more, given that douchebaggery, asshattery, vandalismery, and ``creative interpretation of an enhanced reality'' can cover a wide variety of edits not limited to the Jackson Pollockery of pasta footways that carelessly draped itself over, smothering the parks.
Since someone jumping in after-the-fact probably won't have a clue how things looked beforehand, best to provide an achavi link as above in lieu of, or in addition to the thousand words it is worth, most of which words probably violate the proposed Code of Conduct (wait, didn't i see a documentary where your country had elected a President Douchebag and so the word immediately lost all offensiveness?) -

Thank you for your input.

Replying to freebeer: Trump 2020, and if you want a beer: buy it
To everybody else: When I took over this city there was nothing but residential roads, schools, the golf course, and 4 parks. As you can see, I added many thousands of items, and was hoping that in return you would give me a shred of leeway for being meticulous at city owned and upkept grass... Apparently that BARGAIN on your side was too much to ask for, and I will have to delete all that I have created in order for it to be equal again.
And thanks for deleting the Ochoco Creek Park mess lol

You all jumped in at the last minute like a bunch of lazy douchebags who only delete stuff, and won't even map a blank city like Redmond, 20 miles west,

(Assuming that DuhMapMaster5000 and RomanoLuingine are the same person.) You're edits and contributions to the map are very appreciated, WHEN they follow guidelines and aren't meant to advantage you when playing PokemonGo (which your original comments clearly indicate). You make it sound like you're doing a great service to the community, but you are doing a lot of bad things at the same time. When you enclose your house with a way and call your house and yard a "park" and then create dozens of paths on your "park", that is not helping the community. You spent weeks of your life making the map your plaything. You can't blame those in the community from wanting a map that is high quality.

That was actually a friends house, he requested I do that lmao.
Yes, both those accounts are me.

Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
If city owned and operated landscaping is not a park, then why are trees a forest? Is that not wrong?
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Whoever jacked up Ochoco Creek park by putting multiple forests in it deserves to be banned.

I'll cut you all a deal: I map the entire city of Redmond by your standards, if you allow the landscaping in Prineville to be labeled "park". I looked for an appropriate tag, and "park" is the closest I could find for an area like that. Believe me, in no way whatsoever do I want to make a city twice the size of one that took me weeks, you get the clear upper hand in this deal.

Comment from woodpeck
As a rule of thumb, if something is less than one acre, it would need very good reasons to be marked a park. One such reason would be if it was listed as a park somewhere on the web site of the city, or commonly known in the neighbourhood as "xyz park", or if there was a sign (that isn't self made by the mapper).

Comment from woodpeck
Also, a general request, even if not everyone here might be grown-up let's as least act as if we were, and skip the frequent "lol", "lmao" etc., as well as any expletives.

Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Do you understand what this thing called "incentive" is? I am asking for a small concession to basically giving weeks of free labor away.
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
I am going to re-add the city hall courtyard, because it is in fact a park btw. I just noticed someone deleted it -.-
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Do we have a deal on the Redmond proposal?
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Also, I'm going to add in a ton of tags around downtown to businesses that I know of
-
Comment from woodpeck
The "small concession" you are asking is essentially for us all to lower our standards so you can have your fun. We will not do this, and if you make allowing your fantasy parks a condition of your further contribution, then we have to pass on that further contribution.

Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Have fun mapping Redmond then, I'm out
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Oh wait, you never will map Redmond, because you only care about deleting stuff, not contributing,
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
"Lowering your standards" and butting out are not the same btw, learn your vocab
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Your standards are blank maps besides roads, it really can't go any lower.
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
Hell, I'll make those landscaping parks so small you cant even see them, thinner than the sidewalk line is, if you really want me to!
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
To woodpeck: I just read that there is a "landcover = grass" tag, I would be content with that instead of "park" lmao. I searched long and hard for something like that and failed to even find it...
-
Comment from DuhMapMaster5000
I just want my city to be as heavily mapped as possible, that's all

DuhMapMaster5000: I am certain you are capable of making some awesome map edits and contributions. There is so much out there that needs a first time mapping. Just going into a city and adjusting roads for accuracy is an enormous help. Putting in buildings is a HUGE help. With their addresses - ...is more than one could ever ask for a contribution. All of us are putting in free labor and our time to this project. You are not alone in that. Entering into an already established and mapped city and making changes to it, shouldn't you take into consideration a sense of respect for the artist who worked tirelessly on it? There is so little time given to each of us in this world. I would respectfully ask you to be more mature than all of us and find a way to have your work be respected for all eternity by immortalizing yourself in this global piece of artwork. Be able to take pride in your building up this map, not destructively taking it down.
If you need Redmond mapped, I will get up there and see what can be done. However, my contributions are currently consumed elsewhere. Perhaps this is an opportunity like I was speaking about. Get up there an start mapping it. Make a claim to the city by mapping it. You will be able to say that Redmond is your city. You are the initial mapper. I doubt anyone will stop you. What's awesome about being the initial mapper is by going between cities you can see the individuality of each artist - and that is awesome! I feel this is an excellent way for you to invest your time and forever be remembered for something. Good luck my friend. Stay positive~
