This footpath is signposted, but the sign is old and difficult to see. It's just a cut through to the main road from the cycle path, via the road to the cottages.

I tried to find the path I deleted - it isn't there. I reached an overgrown and impassible area. Also, further to the east, near Pride Park, it is a building site now. There is no official footpath on that side of the river, so the map is misleading.
