One block of Pelican Lane is gravel (not asphalt) and through traffic on this block of cottages is discouraged via road signs (through traffic is directed to Sitka Lane instead).

Split out the junction of Ocean Parkway and Birch Avenue into a separate path, not accessible to motor vehicles. It's too narrow for cars and Ocean has a "No Outlet" sign.
