Hi Ty, are you sure the trail on the crest doesn't have an official easement? Based on the official USFS official map of the area (https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5090539.pdf), the Millcreek Crest Trail is an official trail that continues through this area of private property. Admittedly the part to the east of Burch Hollow that I've been on before is horribly-overgrown and barely recognizable as a trail (and hence I haven't ever added it to the map here), but it seems like the USFS considers it a trail nonetheless. I wonder if this implies an official easement through the property, similar to what we have with other trails in the Wasatch on private lands.
