Hello
When you changed name of the tunnel from Dalporten to Kopparbergsvägen, did you consider anything about why someone added the name Dalporten? Some of you from Microsoft asks before overwriting. But apparently not everyone. When you do this large scale changes on a community project, you should definitively ask the community before removing allready added content.

Hello Anders,
I added the name from the street before and after tunnel, it is possible that I accidentally selected that part.
Thanks for the point on this oversight of mine, I will pay more attention to things like this in the future.
I further checked the name information and found it to be Dalporten on Mapillary and returned that name. -

While I agree that this is an oversight on the part of the editor and that we should double-check before making the change, I strongly disagree with this way of labeling a road segment with a tunnel name.
There is a tunnel:name tag that should be used. Also, there is a variant for bridge:nameHere is the wiki documentation:
https://viki.openstreetmap.org/viki/Kei:tunnel#Hov_to_mapAlso, this tag is used quite a bit on OSM
https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keis/tunnel%3AnameWould it be in the interest of the community to map all these names correctly?

I agree and have now changed to a specific tunnel name.
My point is that every change should be an improvement.
Of course errors will be introduced, that is not the problem.
The problem (that becomes more and more common) is that survyed information is deleted because people and large companies run some scripts and find patterns that does not match some rules. And then changes or deletes the survyed information without thinking twice what that lost information actually meant. Just assuming it was an error and to lazy to look up what is actually was.As a big company you have a larger responsibility than a random private user.
But I must also say that so far I think you (Microsoft) are doing a good job most of the times.

I forgot to mention that the name of the tunnel was added by me 11 years ago, at that time I don't think the tunnel:name tag was invented.
