Hi. Could I inquire why are you adding data in one Changeset, and later deleting such data in another Changeset? I was not able to find any reference to #teachosm-project-1501. Is this some kind of training? If so I suggest that do not edit the heavy urban enviroment, and look more for parks or unhabited areas for practicing mapping.
Thanks and Best Regards

No problem Julio it's always nice to meet an experienced mapper that takes care of the map!
The issue with creating-then-deleting was on the account on mapping what was meant to be a public infrastructure, but then just after mapping I've realized the gate thus meaning that was actually a private area. Was a misjudgement. I was editing as a demonstration of sidewalk mapping, more details on the project: https://tasks.teachosm.org/projects/1501 , It is part of an activity coordinated with an equip from UMSA.

As a practice, the local community acepted to not include sidewalks for many reasons in particular for the poor quality and offset of the imagery available for ours cities. Said this, do NOT preclude that several more open areas like parks that have clear views could be mapped with path, footways or sidewalks as applicable. As such, and otherwise indicated all traffic ways in OSM has sidewalks as de facto, so it could not make much difference for navigation porpouses, if the blocks sidewalks are drawn or not.
The same applies to the drawing of city blocks, that is just more lines in the map, if they do not have any identification, and in bolivia that standard do not exist so far. So we have some "ways of mapping" being enforced unilaterally by some mappers without the consensus of the comunity.
Please review and advise

Well, I understand and respect the decision of the community, I can revert all my changesets there in Bolivia with no bad feelings!
I was thinking that alongside with the invitation to do a lecture on the theme there were the approval of the community to map it. There are people of UMSA interested on this type of mapping, but I don't know the state of conversations amongst the OSM Bolivia.
Well, respect for local communities always comes first, but I strongly disagree that there are no difference on drawing sidewalks as separate geometries, it's way more about the details that you can put there, like surface=*, smoothness=*, types of kerbs, width=* and so on, please give a look on my lecture: https://rebrand.ly/mapealivre_curso_acessibilidad3 (you can change "3" at the end of the link to see part 1 and 2). It's about detailed mapping for accessibility, that is a very important subject.
I am currently working on a project to create a full-fledged pedestrian networks inventory, give a look, hope you like it: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Opensidewalkmap

We are not requiring at all that your revert, neither we will do any reversion of such data, despite the agreements that we may has reach. Good data is welcome. Our concern is related to the quality and deficiencies of the existing data and not add more (even good) over data that needs a lot of improvements.
About the "interest" of the UMSA we have strong concerns that their interest are driven for "individual goals" unrelated to the good of the map. Their mapping activities are more Social Media Fanfare than actual mapping. And they never considered the priorities and needs of the map of the country that goes far beyond than sidewalks and park benches.
In a recent tweet about this "Fanfared Projects" we suggest that how about an effort to include in the map of Bolivia the more of 9000 official human settlements still not included in the map, or the more of 12000 schools still not included, or the more of 2400 Health Centers still not included. We believe that sidewalks are ok, but is not more important critical data? data that "Visualize" people? their critical resources and needs?
As an example. La Paz is a city with several needs of fresh water and is served by several Reservoirs, Lakes and other water bodies. The mapping of such resources has NO colaboration at all from this kind of "iniciatives" that work as stand alone entities and islands, and that the time has proved that they will eventually fade and dissapear, becuase they are not looking the "higher goal", but the individual and more "mediatic" one.
Congrats for your project, wish you the best; but for now our project is named #Bolivia (1.09 Million Square Kilometers)

Thank you for your kind considerations, I understood everything you said, and hope that this relationships improve in a possible future alongside the best for the mapping of Bolivia in general.
With that being said can you point me some places or projects in order to me help a little with the mapping? I can also create Tasking Manager projects, to help on the mapping management. You can contact me by DM.
Best wishes,
