Why you deleted old tram lines, instead of giving them "abandoned" tags, to let them be visible on openrailwaymap as an old tram route?

Hi, because the track is not abandoned, it has been demolished thus is not existing anymore.

Abandoned, razed, whatever. It should be let on the map to be visible as old tram network. Like here for example: https://www.openrailwaymap.org/?style=standard&lang=en&lat=50.362751981983266&lon=18.805460929870605&zoom=15
https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/687546805#map=14/50.3659/18.8300&layers=NWhat you did is deleted the priceless history of this current tram network part, contained just in changsets history. And I pretty sure your changes should be reverted

Actually I do not have much experience in editing OSM, but I have reviewed the tram network in Kraków and found out that in "Krowodrza Górka" tram terminal also old tracks have been deleted instead of marking as "abandoned". Would you pls share with me some documents describing OSM policy in such cases?
