Hi, why did you make this changes ? https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/27529231 is an "halt" and not a "station". https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3058638620 is also an "halt" and "railway=stop" doesn't exist in the wiki. Previous contributor "Denis_Helfor" works in the french railway company so he knows the good tag to apply... Thanks.

Hi, so this is my argumentation :-)
1. What is a station?
Place with at least one switch, where trains begin, end, cross, turn, end etc. Used for all stations with access for passengers. This can be passenger-only stations, but also stations that are used for passenger traffic and freight traffic or internal purposes.

So Foug has switches. You can see it on the map/bing. Moreover, according to this document (below) its siding is open for Fret. https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/gares-ferroviaires-de-tous-types-exploitees-ou-non/2. But railway=stop exists !!
See the graph on the wiki.
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:railway%3Dstation3. There must be no two nodes "station" or "halt" for one station/halt (same wiki above) so I've just removed one and replaced it with stop. I've talked with Denis regarding removal of duplicate halt/station nodes and he's fine about it.
(I'd like to make it to Clemont-Ferrand this May but I can't...)

Ok but there is no definition in the wiki about railway=stop http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:railway
