Hi,
thanks for taking the suggestion into account, but I think you misunderstood the concept of the use_sidepath value: bicycle=use_sidepath should be tagged on the *roads* that should not be used by cyclicsts because they have to use the cycleway. The *cycleway* itself gets the key bicycle=designated. -

When a road has a parallel compulsory cycleway (... (DE, PL).
The second image in the brackets is what we have on this street.
Indeed you should not drive on the foot path and there is a dedicated lane for bicycles separated by a white line.
Hope this make sense for you.

I meant e.g. this way (http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/261392235) which is a combined foot and cycleway and should therefore be tagged bicycle=designated and foot=designated with "segregated=yes".
The tag bicycle=use_sidepath should be applied to the road "Kriegstraße" / "B10" as you are not supposed to drive on this road with your bike because there is the compulsory cycleway. -

OK. It is a bit confusing, but I see your point.
I will change all similar pathways that I did in such way to the suggested style:
bicycle=designated
foot=designated
segregated=yes
