Hello there!
I noticed you added some new keys to the database like case:deadline=* etc. Although this is not forbidden, it is recommended to stick to the thousands of well established key=value combinations which can be found in the OSM documentation.
For internal planning data (like you added) it is even recommended to use that data only locally on your computer(s) but keep it out of the public database.
If you need help on that, check the OSM forum and get in touch with your friendly co-mappers!

Thanks @highflyer74 for your comments. I'd be certainly happy to only use standard key=value combinations, is there anything for this kind of work? I am doing this for a planning network, to allow people to visually view live planning applications. These values will be removed when they become irrelevant.
Also, can you suggest a way that I can have a map that highlights only entries containing a certain tag, or contain a certain keywork in the name? I want an interactive map that shows all the current planning applications. Thanks! -

Thanks for the quick reply! As I am mainly mapping things and doing quite a bit of quality assurance, I am not that involved in the different ways to display data. I remember uMap (https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/) being mentioned in forums as an easy solution. With the Overpass Turbo (https://overpass-turbo.eu/) you can set up different (also quite complex) queries to display the data you need. When it comes to programming things Leaflet (http://leafletjs.com/) seems to be popular. If that does not help, try the UK OSM forum (http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=5), and if there is no help there try the German one (http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=14).
I hope this is of help. If you don't need the data anymore, just keep in mind to remove it again latest by then.
All the best from across the Channel!

Yes please use something like umap. Unless the local planning application summary (reference & address) are explicitly provided by the council as open data they are not suitably licensed for OpenStreetMap. Even if they are such relatively ephemeral (and hard to check) data is something which we tend to avoid including in OSM. Another point is that as I dont believe Peckham is address complete there is a danger that non-open sources might be used to add data. FInally we dont use ALL CAPS in names, we dont include comments or the address in names either, there are perfectly sensible tags for these. By adding all this extra stuff it becomes much harder for people who want to use the data (for instance finding a Costa on Peckham High St) if there is lots of extraneous info in the name.

Thanks guys. uMap is awesome, produced a great map with it! (http://tinyurl.com/ppnmapv1). I've taken on board your comments, removed the CAPITALS and address from name, and cleaned up the 'notes' attribute. The planning application details are publicly available, and we are a citizen group making the data accessible to the public (and of course happy for others to update it). So thanks for your helpful comments!
