Hi dehr. May I know the reason behind deleting many mapped highways in this changeset? See http://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=45986910

Hi Pascal,
This changeset is I think related to https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=632747#p632747 . Essentially Facebook created some "clever" workflow to add roads (like they did last year that resulted in every wadi and wall in Egypt bing added as a "road" before being reverted) and this time they deleted a whole bunch of tags from existing objects.
They seem to have reverted their own changes in changesets such as this one.
It's a shame that not all the mappers concerned are replying to changeset discussions (see e.g. http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=4353529 ) - if they were to do that it would clarify things considerably.
Best Regards,
Andy -

@Andi: It's quite difficult to properly use changeset discussions as long as there is no way to find your own comments. There is code fragments to add this to the wiki page but no one works on it. Thailand has a forum where more people participate in discussions.

Hi Pascal, Andi, and Stephan.
Sorry for the late response on this changeset as this is my personal account and does not see much usage. I work for Facebook and my name is David.
We were working in the dev environment and an editor accidentally uploaded their practice edits to live OSM instead of the dev environment. That is why this changeset was deleted.
As mentioned above, this is my personal account and will not be used for making edits related to Facebook going forward.
Best,
David -
