Hello and Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
For your data to be acceptable for inclusion in the OSM database it must be verifiable on the ground to other mappers. It doesn't look like your business has a physical presence at this area. Your website does not give an address. Thus your data ought be removed, I await your response.

Hi Bernard,
Thank you for your reply.
To tell you the truth, I’m not totally sure how OpenStreetMap works. I thought it was something like Google maps or IOS maps. I was just trying to promote my business.
You are correct that my business does not have any physical presence at the address. This is my new registered business address.
Please follow the link the confirm my business address on my website http://www.circusstardust.com/terms-of-business/
Kind regards,

Hello Shaun,
I see and accept from your link that you operate the business from that address. However, this can only be a virtual address, which is what you say.
The problem for OSM is that features ought to be verifiable on the ground. I quote from https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Good_practice
"Verifiability. OSM data should, as far as is reasonably possible, be verifiable. The principle applies to tags and other aspects of data representation, and essentially means another mapper should be able to come to the same place and collect the same data ("verify" the data you have entered)."
If I go to that place would I be able to ascertain/verify your company's presence?

Hi Bernard,
I live and work from Hastings, on the sunny south coast. I recently deiced to get a registered business address for my company, Kemp House, 152 – 160 City Road, London. The reason I did this was to give my company a more professional appearance.
I only recently came across Open Street Maps and I just thought it was similar to Google Maps, bit of promote I thought.
I made an account and tried to claim my business, but I found it hard to understand.
Regarding my address, it is a registered business address. I do not work or have client there. Unfortunately, you will not be call in and verify my business there. I'm able to receive mail. I have used this address on Google Maps.
I'm not sure how to move forward with this? If you feel my listing is not suitable for Open Maps, please feel free to delete my data.
Kind regards,

Hi,
OpenStreetMap isn't a business directory - as Bernard said, it's designed for things that are geographically verifiable. For example, the Moorfields Eye Hospital is verifiable by anyone (there are lots of signs for it) but if you've just got a mailing address in a building on the City Road the chances are your business won't be at this address. If you've got an actual office on the south coast that people would see if they walked past it then add a node for your business there and make sure that you tag it with something appropriate (perhaps office=company?).
Best Regards,
Andy
