Dear Ilona,
It's nice to see you are mapping maximum height based on Mapillary pictures! Can I just make one remark: it seems logical to me that the maxheight (usually) only applies to a tunnel, not to the road leading up to that tunnel. Is there a reason you are also tagging these roads before/after the tunnel with maxheight tags?
Keep on mapping!

Dear L'imaginaire,
Thanks for paying your attention! For instance, there is only one line for both direction of the way (Rue de Battice). And if you turn to this street from Rue du Viaduc or Rue du Fouron, your vehicle shouldn't be higher than 4.25m, cause then it'll be impossible to go under the railroad bridge. Also it's mentioned in the highway code (traffic laws) that a limitation is valid till the next crossroads if there wasn't a canceling sign.
Best regards, -

Dear Ilona,
I'm still not sure in this case that it should apply on all the street. If we look at the mappilary imagery, the signs are only on the railway bridge, so the legal restriction should only apply there (between intersection of "Rue Chafour" and "Rue Battice" and the southern intersection).
I say that because putting it on the entire "Rue de Battice" means that gps will prevent access to the "Rue Chafour" (or "Clos du Moulin") from the intersection of "Rue du Viaduc"/"Rue du Fouron"... And the houses in the street are definitely accessible even if you have a big truck. You just can't pass under the bridge.Another side effect is that it prevent the big emergency vehicle to go in this street even if they can in reality. That's really important as more emergency services use the OSM data (especially restriction) to know which truck to take to go at one location.
It could be a good idea to put condtion of "except destination (or directional restriction if you want to keep restriction until intersection)" as house 22 (south of the bridge) is still accessible from the south by big truck, but these can't pass under the bridge. The restriction also legally begin only at the bridge (as the sign if only there).
Best regards and thanks for the answers ! :-)
PS : I don't want to seems rude or something like that, i just want to be sure it won't be badly interpreted by GPS when used by emergency services (like firefighters) and other users).

I also had another look at it, and given the principle that the restriction goes from the sign to the next intersection, I believe it should indeed be mapped from the Rue Chafour to the Rue des Fusillés. You agree?
