This changeset does not appear to have been posted yet. The dataset I open when I start a fresh session of OSM using JOSM editor does not reflect these changes.
Is there a problem with this changeset? I was attempting to clear up problems indicated in previous posts arising out of changes in OSM internal procedures. -

Re "The dataset I open when I start a fresh session of OSM using JOSM editor does not reflect these changes" what is it that you expect to see that you do not see?

hallo robert,
your changes go live immediately. you can visualise what you have done at
https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=61902366
which shows me it is too complicated for me to see at a quick glance what is lacking.
However I re-loaded the area I posted in my diary comment to see if i could recognise this area and i believe one area covered by this changeset can now be seen at
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=-125.21664&lat=49.28339&zoom=15&opacity=0.66
as it falls before the time of last update near 01h00 UTC.
I am sure you are expecting to see the forest multipolygon rendering, but the ways not closed are still/now preventing this.
hope this is accurate and/or useful... -

SomeoneElse, freebeer:
I was expecting way 618633991, enclosing "Alberni Sproat Lake Taylor Arm Woodlands" to appear on the rendered map.I was attempting to split a large, complicated polygon in to smaller bits, as it was being rejected by the new rendering procedures in OSM.
The new polygon, including only Taylor Arm portion of Sproat Lake, was indicated by the OSM editor, as not having any errors, even though there were still errors in the original polygon, so I expected it to be rendered as natural=wood.
In the past I have been able to proceed with my editing in steps, with some portions of the posted ways carrying errors which I corrected later, usually within the next day. Perhaps this is no longer possible with the new rendering routines. I will have to work around this, if so.
I am still interested in getting way 618633991 on this changeset rendered, but I see from the details below that it has apparantly been deleted. If it has been deleted, can I safely go ahead and recreate it?
Thank you both for your comments. Any assistance is appreciated.
The tools demonstrated by the links you provided, achavi in Overpass, and OSM Inspector in Geofabrik, should be helpful in future.
Cheers -

the -991 you list above was not deleted, but -992. assuming that is the one you meant, looking at the achavi link it is one of two clearly visible that you redrew to take a different path.
but as i look again at the achavi and zoom in, suddenly green forests are spilling into the fields of white, so i am hoping your very recent changes are having the desired effect.
which i too am now seeing here as i zoom in above level 15, so i think you have it now.
