Hi! You created some empty route relations during the last days. Do you plan to fill them later?

Hello, I am waiting to learn how to develop bus routes, I am still testing but I can't hit the key. The modifications made are that they were wrong.

Comment from rodrilafu
I don't know if route 6 got it right or not. I was selecting the stops and stopping points.

Bus relations are very difficult to map. What editor do you use?
-
Comment from rodrilafu
Id Editor of Navegator

Sorry, can't help with that. Is it a fork of the standard id editor? I wonder why it doesn't produce any changeset comments. This is uncommon and should be changed.

It is the browser editor

OK, I see your recent uploads contain the normal comments.
I can't help with id because I never use it. I only work with JOSM. I'll contact an expert for bus routes, maybe he can help. -

I am in contact with people in Spain who know how to do it. Thank you

OK, great! Maybe they can also help you to remove the obsolete relations.

Hello rodrilafu
GerP did contact me.
Bus routes can get quite complex. As starting point, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/ES:Buses, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/ES:Relation:route and https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/ES:Relation:route_master.What do you want to change on bus route 6?
So far it is present in the data base as "Public Transport version 2 (PTv2) with route_master (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/4010004) and one route per direction (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/3994553 and https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/3996761).
What is wrong?Greetings skyper

Hello,
I used 6 as a test, the one that is really wrong is 5, since there are stops that do not coincide by position. I think it is quite difficult for a beginner to do bus routes.

You are right about the complexity and I, personally, never tried to edit a relation with iD.
You can contact a local user who did added the other relations and ask for help.
And/Or I can have a look at route 5 the next days but it is not easy to check/update from the couch. By chance, do you know if there are external sources allowed to use, like GTFS?

I do not know,
the location of the stops is correct.
All stops are at this link:

I had a closer look at route 5 and six and made little changes: https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/86049452
I noticed little problems:
* Most platforms and all stops do not have a name, which makes it hard to work with.
* Platforms and stops are usually pairs, so https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3044774952 and https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3044774953 seem to be too far away from each other.
* The starting stop for route 6 going north is missing.I am not sure how we can use the link you mentioned.
For more help, you might get into touch with https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/sanchi. It looks like an active and experienced user, speaking Spanish.
By the way, I deleted all the relations without member as they are useless.
Cheers skyper
