111x seems to be north-south numbering. See 1xxx along Chestnut to the east, and the 11th St name.
I would not take a skipped number to mean anything (1106-1112 just south).
If I analyse the data I'll lose this comment. Decisions...
Then of course the two houses on the n0rth-south section of Hilltop Dr to the southwest of here blow holes in that theory.
An extra `1' on these numbers? Too many contributors, not a single import account.
Seeing the same number added by two different people to two nearby buildings, I would guess this to be a concerted action by several individuals over time based on some official data, that may include garages and sheds with housenumbers or other inconsistencies.
(There is a similar effort recently begun in part of germany where the data is legally available for use, starting with Ludwigsburg and now extending to cover other areas. Not an import, not people pounding pavement for a survey, but dedicated freak^H^H^H^H^Hmappers hand-copying official data.)
.
I think here it would help if instead of firing up an editor to view aerials, make a snarky remark, then promptly closing the editor, I instead linger for a while and add driveways that will help tie buildings to the associated street.
That will last only until the next Niantic map slurp (apparently once each six months or so) at which time the local Pokémongoloids (is that no longer a correct term? now I have another earworm gnawing in me brane, one chromosome too many, just another bit of de-evolution) will purge the map of them.
Yep, ½ along with A, B, comma-separated values, makes me think something is up.
