As a land surveyor at the Survey Department of Sri Lanka, I apply my geomatics knowledge and skills to support the government’s land administration and management activities. I have over twelve years of combined experience in land surveying, cadastral surveying, and tunnel surveying, working with both public and private sector clients.

I have a Master of Science degree in Geomatics from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, where I gained expertise in geo-information technology, spatial data analysis, and geographic information systems. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Sciences from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, where I was an instructor in surveying sciences for one year. I am proficient in using various surveying instruments and software, such as total stations, GPS, drones, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and QGIS. I am passionate about improving the quality and accuracy of geospatial data and enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of land use planning and development.
