Erick (MSc) is an award-winning environmental scientist and researcher. He is a co-founder of GeoTE Tanzania, a youth-led organization dedicated to advancing open data, geospatial innovation, and community empowerment. Erick has collaborated with prominent global initiatives such as YouthMappers and the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team to drive impactful projects in conservation, disaster response, and sustainable development. As a committed advocate for youth engagement, he champions strategic applications of geospatial technologies to foster sustainable development and positive change in Tanzania and beyond.
