Mapper since:
February 12, 2008

I’m a long-time mapper in Germany and contribute to several Open Source projects related to OpenStreetMap, most notably OSM2World.

From 2018 to 2022, I served as a board member of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, and I continue to participate in OSMF work as part of the Engineering WG and Communication WG. I’m part of the governance team for the Community Forum and admin for OSM’s participation in Google Summer of Code.

You can visit my website to learn more about my current projects, or check out my HDYC, Forum, Wiki or Help profiles.

Most of my contributions have been made as a volunteer, but I’ve done some open source software development as a freelancer.
