Temitope Omowumi is currently Electrification Planning Advisor at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). He is responsible for providing advisory on on-grid and off-grid electrification data gathering, planning and modelling. He started this position in 2018. Previously, he was the team lead for fiber planning at Interkel Group in Lagos, Nigeria, where he was responsible for Planning Fiber Networks in many cities in Nigeria (2016-2018) . His industry experience dates back to 2011 and he is regarded as a experienced Planning Engineer with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He received his B.SC in Civil Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso in 2010.
