It’s just some half a year since I wrote my blog spot about the edit number 20000000 and we have another reason to celebrate. But it wasn’t always as fast as now:
- #1 changeset: 9. April 2005
- #5000000 changeset: 16. June 2010
- #10000000 changeset: 30. November 2011
- #15000000 changeset: 11. February 2013
- #20000000 changeset: 14. January 2014
- #25000000 changeset: 25. August 2014
The OpenStreetMap is speeding up! When do you expect the #30000000 changeset?

At that rate of growth, I’d wager Feb 2015 or Mar 2015 at the latest

WoW i kind of just discovered that because im a user of X-Plane 10 and they use your OSM data and found out to my dismay my little town is just a set of roads in a forest :) so now im updating my towns info so its better represented in the simulation world.

Freequest, I discovered Osm because of osm2xp.
3 years and 3000 changesets later, i’m still mapping :-)
